A household accumulates more than anyone can hold in memory—what was bought, where it ended up, whether it is still under warranty. Homiary writes each asset as a diary: every change of location, owner, keeper, or status is recorded automatically, so you can read all the way back to the day it arrived.

Asset records with an automatic diary

Name, brand, model, serial number, category, purchase price and valuation, warranty, and asset tag live in one record. Every change of location, owner, keeper, or status is written into the diary automatically, and you can always add a note by hand.

The shape of a home: members, places, tags

A location tree of any depth, household members with permissions, and a colour-coded tag system. A whole location can be moved along with its children, and every asset keeps its own transfer record.

Overview, valuation trend, reminders

Asset count, valuation and total spend, new items this month, and member stats are gathered on the dashboard, alongside a valuation trend accumulated by purchase date and a category breakdown. Warranty, return, and maintenance reminders follow your settings, and the header bell reads the same data.

What already works

Every module below is backed by the database—each number on screen comes from real data, with no frontend mock-ups.

01Dashboard: Asset count, valuation and total spend, new items this month, member and reminder stats; a seven-month valuation trend accumulated by purchase date, a category share by valuation, the fullest location, and recent asset events.
02Assets: Server-side search across name, brand, model, serial number, category, and tags, with filters for status, owner, location (including sub-locations), and tags; card and table views, plus create, edit, and delete.
03Asset detail: The full record, warranty, and asset tag; handwritten diary entries, with changes of location, owner, keeper, and status written in automatically.
04Members: Create, edit, and remove members with permissions and active status; owned asset counts and valuations are computed live from the asset table, and deletion is refused while assets remain.
05Spaces and locations: A location tree of any depth with a preview of the assets inside; bulk moves can carry sub-locations along, and each asset keeps its own transfer record.
06Tags: Create, edit, and remove tags and colours with live asset counts; preset tags can be renamed and recoloured but not deleted.
07Settings: Household name and currency, password change, automatic backups and retention, reminder lead times, and theme. Changing the password invalidates sessions on other devices immediately; backups can be made, downloaded, or exported as a JSON snapshot.

Still on the way

Maintenance and warranty, loans and returns, and disposal are still driven by demo data—useful for settling the interaction and the visuals, but not yet persisted.
